HOW COULD WE FORGET TO WRITE MARCH'S DEVELOPMENT LOG??

This is a development log for March. We are sorry if we release it late. But let us cut the chase and go deep to see what we've been working on for the past month!

  • We have reviewed some of the code and optimized them to make it easier to understand and boost performance. For example, now we use abstract class for each other's action skills instead of using the interface. It turns out some of the skill is basically playing animations, with some animation events attached to it. We also add more variables to store every character's attacks and skills, to make the attacks more dynamic and the designer can easily adjust the configuration.
  • We have added key rebinding to the game, based on the feedback from most of the users to implement it. For now, the keybinding is applicable for keyboard input only. Gamepads and other supported controllers will follow.
  • We have implemented stage selection mechanics after choosing the character.
  • We have done most of Hanze's animations. All that is left is to finish the VFX used for the animation (most of them are complete too!). We have posted some of the sneak peeks in our socials, here are the videos of some of the new videos that we haven't posted in other socials, but only in this devlog and also discord.
